… back in September 2012, my husband and I were out hiking in red rock with Benn and Bella. Well, Bella took off after some Burros early that morning and we could not find her. I called Sherrie at SafeDoggy to let her know. Without hesitation Sherrie told me she’d be there to help us find Bella. Shortly Sherrie and Christine arrived. They both spent all day, several hours, in the heat looking for our Bella. We did not find her that day. Sherrie suggested we go home and bring back some of Bella’s blankets to put on the trail to help Bella get the scent of where we were. We did just that. Then when it turned dark, we went home. We returned at first light the next morning to continue our search for Bella.

At first she wasn’t near any of the blankets we put out. We continued for two hours just calling her name. As we made our way back through the original trail, there she was laying on one of her blankets. We were so grateful to have our Bella back. Thank you Sherrie for that great idea. – Maria White, Summerlin
